Workshop Two - Lean Value Stream Mapping: Preparing for Breakthrough Results

Value Stream Mapping enables organizations to capture detailed, step-by-step information about key business processes. With this information, businesses can identify non-value-added process steps that can be eliminated to make the process more timely and efficient. In addition, Value Stream Maps offer a guide for the future by making it easy to envision improvements to a particular process.

Workshop Description

Workshop Two of the Lean Management for Breakthrough Results training series teaches participants how to construct a detailed Value Stream Map, and how to analyze it to identify opportunities for improvement. During the workshop, students practice a number of Lean techniques they learned in Workshop One of the series.
