Week Two: Green Belt to Black Belt Upgrade    Bookmark and Share
(Analyze - Improve - Control)

Following Week One of the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt to Black Belt Upgrade program, you have six weeks to apply what you have learned so far as a Black Belt. During this time, your Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt instructor is available via phone and email for questions and to help with your Black Belt certification project.

Week Two of training includes additional advanced statistical techniques that are part of the skill set of every successful Lean Six Sigma Black Belt. Techniques such as regression and correlation, design of experiments (DOE) and nonparametric tests are covered.

In addition, the training includes advanced methods for determining sample size, and maintaining optimal process performance using Statistical Process Control (SPC). Advanced Lean techniques such as Kanban, Mistake Proofing and SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Die) are also covered in detail, as well as advanced change management techniques.

Key Topics:

  • Regression/Correlation
  • Introduction to Logistic Regression
  • Multiple Regression
  • Determining Sample Size
  • Two-Way ANOVA
  • Randomized Block Designs
  • Factorial Designs
  • 2k Designs
  • Attribute DOE (Design of Experiments)
  • Fractional Factorial Designs
  • Survey of Non-Normal Data
  • Nonparametric Tests
  • Advanced SPC (Statistical Process Control)
  • DMAIC Roadmap Review
  • Lean Review (Kanban, Pull Systems, Takt, Standard Work, Mistake Proofing)
  • SMED (Single Minute Exchange of Die)
  • TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)
  • Key System Factors that Enable Change
  • Force Field Analysis of Resistance
  • Building a Change Implementation Strategy
